Hi guys,
Not sure I'm at the right place to ask the question but I'm looking for a way to get in-game ship status from an external custom made application. My goal is to have that external software to know, for example, if the landing gear is deployed or retracted.
I'm planning to build a simulation cockpit to play ED and I'd like it to be as interactive as I can make it.
I know this is doable as the EliteDMX uses that kind of events to flash DMX lights when the ship gets damages but I have no idea how he have achieve that.
Thanks for you help.

Hi,
since the Elite: Dangerous 2.3 release there is log files to have live ingame events, EliteDMX should use that.
To have a preview of all events available, you can take a look here:

or directly go to the official thread about the player log: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/275151-Commanders-log-manual-and-data-sample

Thank you very much for the answer. Very useful...
Unfortunately I don't see anything related to things like landing gears, ship lights, ... But it's definitively good to see what's available :)
