EDLD (ED Live Dashboard, formerly listed as EDMD) tracks activity across all major playstyles — combat, exploration, exobiology, mining, trade, missions, colonisation, and powerplay — and presents the same dashboard three ways: a live terminal dashboard, a native desktop window, or a scrolling terminal feed. All three are built from one layout model and one set of components, so they show the same windows with the same data; only the rendering differs. Quarter-hour summaries are emitted to terminal and Discord. Runs on Linux, Windows and macOS.
Alongside session and lifetime career statistics it monitors NPC crew, SLF status, engineering materials and ShipLocker contents, hull/shield/module health, cargo pricing at preferred stations, and assets at risk (bounties, bonds, unsold cartography and exobiology data). A shared body database backs the Exploration and Exobiology windows, with species prediction and an on-foot clonal-distance sampling aid.
All data integration plugins are opt-in: EDDN (full schema coverage across all 16 live schemas including fleet carrier materials and navroute), Inara, EDSM, and EDAstro. CAPI is integrated for authoritative fleet, wallet, and carrier data, and Raven Colonial for colonisation (experimental). Eight built-in themes, configurable window layout, and a plugin architecture with per-commander data isolation.
Open source. Designed to run alongside the game with no interaction required.
