A simple comparison tool for Elite.

EDSCT is a comparison tool that runs on Windows systems, I made this tool mainly for myself as I tend to like to compare ships before I chose my next buy and I figured I would share it with others as some people might feel the same as me.

This tool was made as a learning project as well, it was a way for me to study and learn C#.

I couldn't find any other offline tools for this, only the online tool found on Alpha Orbital which is nice but I personally don't like online tools too much because if the author decides to stop updating or the website goes down, it's gone. With my tool that's not too much of a problem since it's offline/local, it is also open source so even if I drop support(which I probably won't, I had too much fun making it) someone else can update it.

EDSCT comes with a ship creator tool to add your own entries to the tool so for the most part there is no need to keep the comparison tool up to date, if Frontier decides to release a new ship just load up the Ship Creator, fill out the fields and save.

The Ship Creator has no dependancy of EDSCT itself as well so it can be used standalone if you like, while there isn't much reasoning behind doing this I figured some people might like it this way.

The files are saved as a json file so you can also edit them using a text editor or even make them by hand.

This tool was inspired a bit by the tool found on Alpha Orbital (http://www.alpha-orbital.com/elite-sct/) and all info for ships provided was gathered from the wiki or Alpha Orbital.
