ED Unified is a Windows desktop app that unifies browsing, bookmarking, installing, and launching Elite: Dangerous third-party tools -- so you never need to leave it for your regular web browser.
Everything lives in one place: your bookmarked tools, filesystem programs, and launch sequences, organized in a single customizable library with drag-and-drop reordering and categories.
- In-app browsing -- embedded sites open as tabs inside the app (with full back/forward navigation), never in your OS browser.
- One-click EDCodex import -- paste an EDCodex tool URL, or click "Add to ED Unified" directly on a tool's EDCodex page while browsing it inside the app, and the name, description, categories, and icon all come across automatically.
- Launch sequences -- chain a game launch (Steam, Epic, or a direct executable) together with companion tools and custom delays between each step, then run the whole sequence with one click or generate a standalone .bat file.
- Auto dark theming -- per-site brightness, contrast, and sepia controls with a smart auto-invert for bright pages, plus one-click legacy presets.
- Custom library background -- set your own background image behind the library grid with adjustable opacity.
- Built-in ad and tracker blocking for embedded tabs.
- Fully customizable theme colors, a collapsible sidebar, and a fullscreen/borderless mode for a clean, distraction-free layout.
ED Unified is free and open-source (MIT license), with no account, backend, or telemetry -- all of your data stays on your machine. Windows-first, with Mac and Linux support planned.
