An EDMC plugin that shows where you can refuel along your currently plotted route.

A plugin for EDMC that shows as a series of blocks which star systems along your route you can scoop fuel at, and optionally which systems have ports you can dock at to buy fuel. It also shows how much of your fuel supply will be left at the end of your route, and approximately how long it will take to fill your tank when scooping fuel from a star.

Routes are read from the game's journal (via EDMC), and your ship's current jump range is automatically calculated, taking into account your installed modules, fuel, and cargo. No manual data entry required! Can also optionally integrate with Neutron Dancer (v2.1.2 or later) to show routes plotted via that plugin.

  • In the default mode, stars are displayed as bright orange if you can scoop fuel from them and dimmed orange if you cannot. Neutron stars show in blue to easily identify where you can supercharge your FSD. In this mode, only the primary star (the one you arrive near when jumping into a system) is shown.
    • This doesn't use any kind of external API, everything is done locally on your computer.
  • If you enable secondary star and landing pad lookups in the settings, the blocks are divided into several sections so that they can also show if you can scoop (or boost) from any other stars in the system, and if there are any known suitably sized landing pads in the system.
    • This requires querying an external API from edastro.com for the extra data. Only star system identfiers are sent, nothing else.

Important note about landing pads: The plugin only checks if a landing pad of a suitable size for your ship has been reported in the target system - it does not check if you can actually land there or if it still exists. Fleet carriers can change who can dock at them or move, and it may take a while for their position to be updated. If the block for the system has a notch cut out at the bottom, then the only suitable landing pad in the system is on a fleet carrier, meaning you may want to have a backup plan.
