A thread where records are shown for the ED universe. It contains information like:
- SOLAR SYSTEM RECORDS
- STELLAR BODY RECORDS
- PLANETARY BODY RECORDS
- DETAILED RECORDS. For things like Black holes, Neutron stars, white dwarfs, Earthlike stars, metal rich planets etc etc
This enables you to check if the hopefully amazing things you have found on your journey into the unknown are indeed a record. If so you can send it to the thread for evaluation so it can be added to the thread AND to the Universal Cartographics Records Book. This is a large 100+ googledoc slide.
Admin note: On May the 31th the companion website Universalcartographics.org has been launched. Its a BETA and not everything is in it. Very promising. I've been given both the thread and the website their own entry (thread and tool section). I think they deserve it AND I think in the near future the Universalcartographics.org could get its own thread. You can find the tool entry here.
